Exomars: two ERZIA amplifiers onboard.

The first of two joint ESA–Roscosmos missions to Mars has begun a seven-month journey to the Red Planet, where it will address unsolved mysteries of the planet's atmosphere that could indicate present-day geological – or even biological – activity.

New VSAT agreements

ERZIA TECHNOLOGIES starts the year in good shape by signing multi-year agreements with two major customers to provide global maritime VSAT services. The contracts will enable the crew of 15 commercial shipping and research vessels to stay connected at all times with access to corporate information, internet and VOIP at landline-like call prices. Communication services also extend to one of the Spanish Antarctic bases to support the scientific mission during the austral summer season and will allow continuous remote monitoring of the base throughout the whole year.

Juan Carlos I Antarctica Base

Beautiful picture just taken out of the Juan Carlos I Spain's Antarctica Base and transmitted using ERZIA's satellite communication VSAT services. Maybe you can see the dome in the picture, where a 2.4m C band redundant system is connecting the base to the rest of the World.

LISA Pathfinder mission

Last 4th of December 2015 ESA’s Lisa Pathfinder mission and spacecraft was launched on board a Vega rocket from Europe's spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana, on its way to demonstrate technology for observing gravitational waves from space

The LISA Pathfinder mission objective is to demonstrate the suitability of the technology that will be used on the future LISA mission to detect gravitational waves in space.

ERZIA has provided three units (Flight Models and a Spare Model) that have been integrated within the Acousto Optic Modulator, inside the Lisa Technology Package.

XTAR, Industry Partners Give Communications Support to Nepal

[Via Satellite 06-30-2015] X-band satellite communications company XTAR, in partnership with CopaSAT, Tampa Microwave, MTN and the Santander Teleport is donating satellite communications resources to relief efforts in Nepal following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck on April 25. The satellite operator is providing no cost space segment through the XTAR-EUR satellite. The Santander Teleport is providing access to its 12 meter X-band hub antenna in Spain, and in Nepal, Tampa Microwave personnel installed a 95 cm X-band manpack terminal in a remote location.

Spanish Presidential candidate from Psoe party visited Erzia Santander Teleport

Santander, Spain – May 9th. – Mr. Pedro Sanchez, Presidential Candidate to the Spanish Government and General Secretary of the PSOE Party, visited Santander Teleport yesterday morning. The Federal Political Campaign started yesterday and will last two weeks being the Elections on May 24th.
The PSOE Party started its Campaign in Santander, where Mr. Sanchez asserted that he was “grateful” for this “illustrative visit” and stated that he would like to “bet on a production model based on science, investigation and innovation”.

Santander Teleport Partners with Arabasat in Africa

Santander Teleport and leading satellite operator Arabsat are offering new solutions for large companies seeking to extend and improve their communications needs in Africa. The collaboration will include Santander Teleport ground station facilities, network, and rich knowledge of the communications needs of the enterprise market, particularly in Africa, and Arabsat 5C satellite at 20 degrees East. The goal is to provide our customers in Spain, Portugal and other countries with cost-efficient and reliable communications in Africa.
