A low cost version of the Satellite Link Emulator was developed for the European Space Agency as a backup system for the CTB being used at Cetecom in Saarbrucken, Germany. This low cost version was intended for operation at Nemko Laboratory in Norway. The objective was to reproduce the main functionality of the initial SLE, however with lower hardware cost and advance on its functionality through software development.
